As many of you know, I have been extremely busy lately with wedding planning. It will all be over next week! Hooray! Or is it just the beginning...

After spring break, "Ms. Barnes" will cease to exist. I told the kids they would call on "Ms. Barnes" and I'd have to say, "she's not here." :)

Anyway, I want to thank you for your patience this year with my busy-ness.

New Writing Project

Students have finished their literary essays. Final drafts should have been turned in today. If they were not completed in class, they needed to be turned in Wednesday morning at 8:30.

Ask your child about the newest writing project that we launched . Watch as your children follow the footprints of writers like Agatha Christie, Donald Sobol, Cynthia Voigt, and Ron Roy. Do you suspect you've deduced the genre?
