Students were given a new math journal this week to begin Unit 7. We are currently working on writing numbers in standard notation, word-number-notation and scientific notation. For example, standard notation is 7,000 and word-number-notation is seven thousand, scientific notation is 7x10^3. Have your child solve this: 8,000 in each notation. -Mrs. Harris
